Green Valley Hospital

Green Valley, Arizona;

The hospital included operating rooms, emergency department, radiology department, pharmacy, administration offices, 200 in-patient beds, and a cafeteria.  We provided whole-building commissioning services in accordance with Green Globes and the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities.  Commissioned systems included chilled water; heating water; VRF; rooftop packaged VAV; and variable flow kitchen exhaust systems; domestic hot water heating system; domestic booster system; medical gas; Building Automation System (BAS); electrical power distribution; fire suppression systems; fire alarm and elevator recall systems; telecommunications; nurse call; access control / card reader system; video surveillance; and audio / paging system.  Mik wrote all commissioning documents including Prefunctional Checklists, Functional Performance Test procedures, the Commissioning Report, and the Systems Manual to meet Green Globes requirements.
